Choose Your Style

Classic, hybrid, or volume

The difference between the three is how many extensions go onto each natural lash. That single variable changes the density, the weight, and the look. If you are not sure which one you want, book a consultation and we will map it out on your own lashes first.

Classic lash extensions close-up on a blue eye, one extension per natural lash for a defined, mascara-like lash line
01

Classic

Best for a natural, everyday look

One extension is applied to each individual natural lash. The result reads like a good coat of mascara that never smudges or flakes — added length and curl, with definition rather than density. If this is your first set, classic is the safest place to start.

02

Hybrid

Best for texture and a fuller lash line

A deliberate mix of classic single extensions and handmade volume fans. The two techniques together create a textured, slightly wispy effect that fills gaps along the lash line without looking uniform. This is the most requested set in the studio.

Full volume lash extensions close-up, handmade fans of ultra-fine extensions creating a dense, fluffy lash line
03

Volume

Best for maximum fullness and sparse lashes

Several ultra-fine extensions are hand-fanned and applied to each natural lash, creating a soft, dense, fluffy finish. Because the fibers are far lighter than a single thick extension, volume adds fullness without weighing your natural lashes down — which makes it a strong option if your lashes are fine or sparse.

How It Works

From booking to a full set in four steps

  1. Step 1

    Book online

Choose classic, hybrid, or volume online, or call and text us if you are not sure which one you want. First-timers can book a $30 consultation instead, which is credited toward the service.

  2. Step 2

    Consultation & mapping

We check the length, direction, and strength of your natural lashes, then map curl and length to your eye shape. Nothing goes on until that map is agreed.

  3. Step 3

    Your full set

Each extension is isolated onto a single natural lash, so nothing is ever glued together. A full set runs 60–90 minutes with your eyes closed throughout, and most clients fall asleep.

  4. Step 4

    Aftercare & fills

We walk you through the oil-free routine and the daily brush-out, then book your first fill two to three weeks out — before the natural shed cycle thins the lash line.

Aftercare

How to make a set last

Retention is roughly half technique and half aftercare. Follow these six habits and you will get noticeably more out of every fill.

  1. 01

Keep them dry for the first 24 hours

The adhesive needs time to fully cure. Skip swimming, saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga, and long hot showers on day one.

  2. 02

    Avoid oil near your eyes

Oil breaks down lash adhesive faster than anything else. Check your cleanser, makeup remover, moisturizer, and sunscreen for oils, and switch to an oil-free formula around the eye area.

  3. 03

    Brush them out daily

A clean spoolie, used gently from the middle of the lash outward, keeps extensions separated and stops them looking crossed or clumped as they grow out.

  4. 04

    Skip mascara and lash curlers

Extensions already hold their curl. Mascara — especially waterproof — is difficult to remove without pulling the extensions off, and a mechanical curler will crimp and snap them.

  5. 05

    Cleanse the lash line properly

Clean lashes retain a set longer. A dedicated lash foam cleanser two or three times a week clears makeup, oil, and debris from the lash line and keeps the follicles healthy.

  6. 06

    Never pull extensions off yourself

Pulling takes your natural lashes with it. If you want them removed, contact the studio first and we will advise on safe removal.

Maintenance

How fills and refills work

Your natural lashes shed on a cycle of roughly six to eight weeks, and each one takes its extension with it when it goes. A fill — a refill, if that is the word you know it by — replaces what has shed and rebalances the lash line so the set keeps its shape rather than thinning out unevenly.

The 40% rule

Booking a fill? Please have at least 40% of your extensions remaining. Below that, book a new full set so we can give you the best result. Fills run every 2–3 weeks.

Questions

Eyelash extension questions

The questions we field most often from new clients at our Huntington Beach lash studio.

How long do eyelash extensions last?

Extensions are bonded to your natural lashes, which naturally shed and regrow on their own cycle. Most clients book a fill every 2–3 weeks to keep a full look. With regular fills, a set can be maintained indefinitely.

How much do eyelash extensions cost in Huntington Beach?

A classic full set is $160 with refills at $80. Hybrid is $170 with refills at $90. Volume is $180 with refills at $100. A 30-minute consultation is available for $30, which is credited toward your appointment.

What is the difference between classic, hybrid, and volume?

Classic applies one extension per natural lash for a defined, mascara-like look. Volume applies a handmade fan of several ultra-fine extensions per natural lash for a soft, dense finish. Hybrid mixes both techniques for texture and fullness in between the two.

When should I book a refill instead of a new full set?

A fill and a refill are the same appointment — two names for topping a set back up. Book one if you still have at least 40% of your extensions remaining, which usually means coming in every 2–3 weeks. Below 40%, book a new full set so we have enough time to rebuild the whole lash line properly.

Does getting lash extensions hurt?

No. Your eyes stay closed and the extensions are applied to the lashes themselves, never to the skin. The application is non-invasive and pain-free — many clients fall asleep during their appointment.

Will extensions damage my natural lashes?

Not when they are applied correctly. Each extension is isolated onto a single natural lash so nothing is glued together, and the weight and length are chosen to suit what your own lashes can carry. Damage comes from oversized sets, lashes stuck together, and clients pulling extensions out — none of which happen here.

Can I wear makeup to my appointment?

Please come with clean lashes and no eye makeup, mascara, or oil-based products. Clean lashes mean a longer-lasting set and a smoother, faster appointment.
