What It Is
A brow lift, not a brow tattoo
Brow lamination softens the keratin bonds inside each brow hair so the hair becomes pliable, brushes it into the direction you actually want, then re-sets those bonds so it stays there. Nothing enters the skin and no pigment is tattooed in — it is the hair you already have, simply pointed the right way.
The effect is most striking on brows that fight you: coarse hairs that grow straight down, a stubborn cowlick at the inner corner, or thinning outer edges that never look symmetrical. Lifting those hairs upward covers more surface area, so gaps close and the brow reads as fuller without a single stroke of pencil.
Honest limitation
Lamination repositions existing hair. It cannot create hair where none grows, so a completely bare patch will still be bare. If that describes your brows, say so when you get in touch and we will tell you straight rather than sell you a service that will not deliver.

Mapping your shape
Before any product goes on, we map the brow against your own features and decide where the hair actually needs to go. Lamination redirects hair — it cannot invent a shape that your growth pattern will not support, so this step decides whether the result looks intentional or just fluffy.

Softening
A lifting cream is applied to break the keratin bonds inside each brow hair, making the hair pliable enough to be brushed into a new direction. Processing time is matched to your hair — coarse, wiry brows need longer than fine, sparse ones, and over-processing is the single most common cause of a bad lamination.

Setting the direction
Each hair is combed up and into position, then a neutralizing cream re-forms the bonds so the hair holds that direction on its own. Sparse patches fill visually because hair that used to grow sideways or downward is now covering them.

Tint, shape and nourish
If you have added a tint, it goes on now, when the hairs are lifted and every gap is visible. We finish by cleaning up any hair outside the mapped shape and applying a nourishing oil to rehydrate the brow after processing.
Waxing sets the shape
Lamination changes where the hair points; waxing decides where the brow begins and ends. Booked together, the wax cleans up everything outside the mapped shape and the lamination lifts what is left inside it — which is why the two together is the most requested brow appointment here. A wax on its own is a shaping and clean-up appointment, no chemistry involved.

Your appointment
Softening, setting the direction, a tint if you added one, then a nourishing oil. About 60–90 minutes, and you leave with the finished brow — there is no downtime and no settling period.

Aftercare & rebooking
Keep brows completely dry for 48 hours, then brush them up daily. Lamination lasts 6–8 weeks and we hold that full gap before the next one, so the hair is never over-processed.

Before you book
- Come with bare brows
- No brow pencil, gel, or powder on the day. Product on the hair stops the lifting cream and the tint taking evenly, and it hides the shape we are mapping to.
- Adding a tint for the first time? Patch test
- If you have sensitive skin, a history of reactions to hair color, or you are tinting for the first time, we recommend a patch test at least 24 hours before your appointment. Ask when you book.
- 24-hour cancellation policy
- Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments canceled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 24 hours notice are charged 100% of the scheduled service total.
- Leave 6–8 weeks between laminations
- Laminating the same hair too soon over-processes it and leaves brows frizzy and fragile. Waxing and tinting on their own have no such wait.
Aftercare
Keep them dry for 48 hours
Brow lamination has a stricter first-48-hours rule than any lash service we offer. Get that window right and the rest is easy.

Keep brows completely dry for 48 hours
This is the one rule that matters more than all the others. The new bonds are still hardening, and water, steam, or sweat in the first 48 hours will relax them and drop the lift straight back to where it started. No swimming, saunas, hot yoga, or steamy showers on your face.

Do not touch or brush for the first day
Fingers press the hair flat and transfer oil onto a brow that has not fully set. Leave them alone on day one, then brush upward daily with a clean spoolie from then on.

Use a nourishing oil or brow serum nightly
The lifting process is mildly drying by design. Castor oil, a brow serum, or a keratin conditioner applied at night keeps the hair strong and glossy — and conditioned brows hold a lamination noticeably better than dry, brittle ones.

Skip harsh actives around the brow
Retinol, glycolic and salicylic acids, and exfoliating scrubs will break down the treatment faster if you use them right on the brow line. Keep them a few millimetres clear for the first week.

Brush them up, then leave them
Laminated brows are meant to be brushed upward and outward. If you want a softer, less fluffy look, brush them up and then press the tips gently sideways with a clear brow gel.

Laminating the same hair too soon over-processes it and leaves brows frizzy and fragile. Waiting the full cycle protects the hair and produces a cleaner result each time.

What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination is a chemical treatment that softens the keratin bonds inside each brow hair so the hair can be redirected, then re-sets those bonds in the new position. Hairs that grew sideways, downward, or in every direction at once are brushed upward and held there, which makes the brow look fuller, smoother, and evenly shaped. It is sometimes called a brow lift or a keratin brow lamination.
How long does brow lamination last?
Brow lamination typically lasts 6–8 weeks. Some clients hold the lift closer to ten weeks; others find the shape softens around week five or six. Hair type, aftercare, and how much oil or exfoliating product reaches the brow line all affect how long it holds.
How much do brow services cost?
Brow waxing starts at $45, a brow tint at $55, and lamination at $80. Lamination and tint together is $100, and a brow wax with lamination is $120, with a tint available as an add-on. A 30-minute consultation is $30 and is credited toward whatever you book.
Should I get brow waxing with my lamination?
Usually, yes, and it is the combination most clients book. Lamination changes the direction your brow hair points but not where the brow starts and ends — waxing decides the shape. Doing both in one appointment means the hair outside the mapped shape is removed and everything inside it is lifted, which is why the result looks deliberate rather than simply fluffier. Waxing can also be booked on its own as a shaping and clean-up appointment.
Should I add a tint to my brow lamination?
Usually, yes. Lamination changes the direction of the hair but not its color, and once the hairs are lifted, any fine or light hairs at the edges of the brow become much more visible. A tint darkens those hairs so the brow reads as a single solid shape rather than a dark core with pale wisps around it. It also means you can skip brow pencil entirely.
Is brow lamination the same as microblading?
No. Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo that deposits pigment into the skin to create the appearance of hair where none grows, and it lasts a year or more. Lamination is a non-invasive treatment on the hair you already have, with nothing entering the skin, and it lasts 6–8 weeks. If your brows have real gaps with no hair at all, lamination cannot fill them — it can only reposition existing hair.
Does brow lamination work on thin or sparse brows?
It works well on sparse brows as long as there is hair to work with, because lifting the hair upward covers more surface area and makes the brow look denser. It cannot help a completely bare patch. If you are not sure whether your brows have enough hair, send us a photo or book a consultation and we will tell you honestly before you pay for the service.
Does brow lamination hurt or damage the hair?
The treatment itself is painless — you feel the products being applied and nothing more. Damage only comes from over-processing: leaving the lifting cream on too long, or re-laminating before the hair has recovered. We match processing time to your hair type and hold to a 6–8 week gap between treatments for exactly this reason.
Can I get brow lamination and a lash service on the same day?
Yes, and many clients do. Lamination pairs particularly well with a lash lift and tint since both are set-and-forget treatments on the same 6–8 week cycle. Mention it when you book so we can allow enough time in the appointment.
